Lake Michigan Fishing Reports
January 2nd 2012
Happy Holidays and New year Everyone!
With the lack of Ice all over SE WI, boat fishing has been phenomenal this year for browns and steelhead! 10-20 fish days have been pretty common with plenty of 40 fish days under my belt already this year. This week will be no exception with 10 straight days predicted above freezing.
In addition to Browns and Steelhead, we have been picking up some very nice lake trout. Lake trout season is closed until March 1st, so we cant target them, but you will catch the lakers right along with the browns while jigging.
Plenty of openings due to canceled ice trips right now and I'm offering $50 off any boat trip for the month of January and February
Tight lines!

Was a great fall on Lake Michigan for the King Salmon, big fish and lots of them showed up. Now with the transition into winter, BIG BROWNS and BIG STEELHEAD are showing up in solid numbers. Will be running trips out of the boat all month long as this ice shows up and we will be on the browns and steelhead through the ice. Here are a few pics from the last salmon trip of the year last month.
